Burn Journal was built by Cubicle Riot ("we", "us"). These Terms of Use (the "Terms") cover burnjrnl.com and the Burn Journal app (collectively, "Burn Journal"). By using Burn Journal, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree with the Terms, then please do not use Burn Journal.
You may use Burn Journal under the following conditions:
- Personal Use: You’re free to use Burn Journal for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- No Misuse: Don’t use Burn Journal to harm anyone or break any laws. And please don’t modify, sell, distribute, or reverse-engineer Burn Journal.
- As-Is: Burn Journal is provided "as is" and "with all faults." The developer is not promising it will work perfectly or meet your expectations.
- Ownership: The code, design, and content on the Burn Journal website and app belong to us, so you can’t claim ownership or reuse any portion without permission.
- Your Data: Burn Journal takes privacy seriously. Nothing you type in Burn Journal is transmitted or saved. Please see our Privacy Policy for the full details.
- Not Medical Advice: We're not doctors. Burn Journal isn't a medical product. Nothing on Burn Journal should be taken as medical or mental health advice.
- Liability: We are not responsible if something goes wrong while you’re using the app, like if your computer crashes and you lose data, or if you have a seizure while using the app, or if your cat loves the app and knocks your laptop off your desk. Use Burn Journal at your own risk.
- Changes or Termination: These Terms can be changed at any time by posting the new version here and updating the date at the top. Burn Journal can also limit, suspend, or terminate access at any time.
- Law Stuff: These Terms follow the laws of North Carolina, USA. Any legal disputes must be addressed in courts in Wake County, North Carolina.
